Hey. Today let’s talk about the PJO movie. Yes I know what all the fandom (including me)
says. “That’s nothing like the
book! It is horrible! We should punch the directors in the face!” (And
on and on)… Now I agree with all of
you. The book to movie is horrific! (And yes we should punch the directors and script
writers in the face.) But I have to say
that if it weren’t for the movie then, I wouldn’t know about Percy Jackson. I hate to admit, but I was introduced to PJO
through the movie. (Now some of you may
be thinking, “then you can’t be the biggest fan”, but trust me I am.)
Now I would like to
talk about one more thing in this post today.
Just a show of hands… Who else was changed, for the better, by PJO? (*My
hand goes up*) If I ever got to sit and
talk to Uncle Rick I would thank him over and over again for the books. If it weren’t for him then I still wouldn’t
be able to except the fact that I have dyslexia. I know that I can’t be the only one who Mr.
Riordan has made an impression on.
I would love it if
y’all took the time to talk about these two things. I have always wanted to hear what other fans
think about the movie (Even though I know what they have to say. I would love to hear it directly for y’all…).
And I would also like to hear how or if PJO and Mr. Riordan has effected/helped
you in any way (Even if Uncle Rick just inspired you to write). Well that’s all for now.
