I hope everyone had a good Christmas and will have a great new year!

I forgot one thing while doing this video.  When I said, "if you are going to do the design where you have to lay one hand over the other to read what it says you need to start on your pinky."  I forgot about the thumb.  You would want to start on the thumb instead of your pinky.

I hope you all like this tutorial!  If you would like a more complicated design, then comment below.

Thalia

As most of you should know, yesterday was Thalia Grace’s birthday; but, as you also know, she will never get any older because she is a huntress. In memory of Thalia, we are going to talk about her today.

Thalia is a GREAT and strong character. She is not too scared of monsters of any kind; she laughs in the face of any sort of. However, she is afraid of some things like heights for example. In the third book, Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia went to Westover Hall and she acted like it was just another walk in the park. I know that she did have to deal with monsters for a while on her own, but before she even got to camp she was turned in to a tree which means that she didn’t have lots of training.

Thalia’s fear of heights is pretty weird for a child of Zeus, but I challenge you to imagine Thalia without that fear. She is not the same.

It was a good and smart decision for Thalia to become a huntress. Most of the huntresses don’t seem to be scared easily and Thalia fits right in with them. I hope that Thalia and the huntresses come into the story and help really soon (I would take getting Percabeth out of Tarterus over that though).

I would like to start by saying that I will be posting a few times a week now instead every day.  Please don’t be mad at me.

So has anybody else out there wanted to read MoA again, but has found it hard to do so? I have wanted to read MoA from the beginning, yet I find it hard.  Every time I start reading the first chapter I find that I have to stop.  I have never had this problem.  I have read the first series eight times and what we have of the second series twice each except MoA.

I have read all of the parts I highlighted on my kindle many times.  Yet I can’t get myself to start from the beginning.   After a lot of thought, I think I know why I (and possibly other fans) find it hard to read again.  It seems to me that I am scared to read the ending again. I have read stuff about the ending lots of times on pinterest, but there is something about reading it in the book.

Also, who else is still in a bit of denial over the ending?  I read MoA from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. and from 8 a.m. until I finished to the book later that night.  When I got to the end I was…well…I don’t know how to put it, but I think that other fans can relate.  The ending never really processed completely until I bought the book and saw it in print, and even then it wasn’t completely processing then.

If you have the same problem I do with rereading MoA, then comment below!

  Thanks!

A Falsh Back in Time...

I know that a lot of Percy Jackson fans out there were hooked at the very first page.

(A flash back in time sponsored by Percy Jackson)

“Look, I didn't want to be a half - blood.
If you're reading this because you think you might be
one, my advice is: close this book right now. Believe what-
ever lie your mom or dad told you about your birth and try
to lead a normal life.
Being a half - blood is dangerous. It's scary. Most of the
time, it gets you killed in painful, nasty ways.
If you’re a normal kid, reading this because you think
its fiction, great. Read on. I envy you for being able to
believe that none of this ever happened.
But if you recognize yourself in these pages- if you feel
something stirring inside -stop reading immediately. You
might be one of us. And once you know that, it’s only a
matter of time before they sense it too, and they'll come for you.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

My name is Percy Jackson.
I'm twelve years old. Until a few months ago, I was a
boarding student at Yancy Academy, a private school for
troubled kids in upstate New York.
Am I a troubled kid?
Yeah. You could say that."

(I hope you enjoyed that flash back in time brought to you by Percy Jackson.)

I can’t count how many good memories that one little page brings back.  Reading that page for the first time, I didn’t know how much these books would change my life.  On that day when I read Percy Jackson for the first time,I was just a girl trying to accept her dyslexia.  Today I am the same person, but Percy Jackson has become a big part of my life.  PJO has helped me accept dyslexia just like it has helped lots of other people with ADHD and or dyslexia. Please comment below and tell what was going through your mind with the first few chapters.

So, now on to the real reason of this post…Do you realize how much has happened in just a few books?  We went from being introduced to the goofy twelve year-old to knowing and loving this almost eighteen year old who has been described as a god and has gone on many quest and saved the world.  I don’t know about you, but I find myself (after MoA especially) wanting to go back to that first page.  Wanting to go back to the moment when I was reading it for the first time.  Reading that first page you didn’t really know who this Percy was or really what this book was about, but you loved him instantly even if you didn’t realize it.  In that first few chapters, you didn’t know what was going to happen.  You didn’t know if Percy would get the lightning bolt, BUT you knew one thing.  You knew that this wasn’t going to be a one book thing.  You knew this would be a series and that meant that no matter what happened Percy would be safe.

After MoA, even though Rick Riordan has said that Percy and Annabeth are safe, we are still scared.  We have come a long way with the characters and books, and they mean so much more to us now.  Even though we know that Percy and Annabeth are safe, when you think about it…they aren’t.  I don’t just mean that they aren’t safe in Tartarus, but that they will always have monsters attacking them.  They will, of course, be able to handle it; but the monsters will always come.

And when the books are all done and said for (I never EVER want to see that day.  EVER!), Rick Riordan will, for the sake of the fans, state that Percy and Annabeth have a good life and what not; however, the fans will always fear for the safety of the characters no matter what.

Rick Riordan knows how much the fans can take. Yet, he goes miles past the boundary line and does things (like add the last chapter in MoA) to calm the fans so that it doesn’t seem like it is as bad as it could be.  In doing so, he extends the boundary line of what the fans can take.

Just something to think about. Please comment below.

Finally, you get to see that tutorial I have been talking about.  Let me explain something really quickly.  I had to make a YouTube channel to be able to upload the video.  So every time I upload a video on there I will also post it on this blog.  Now here it is...

I hope you all like my video.  You can comment on the video itself or on the blog.  If you can come up with any other Percy Jackson inspired tutorials, please let me know in a comment.

Thanks!

I want to go all the way back to SoN (Son of Neptune).  Do you remember when Percy went to Alaska against Annabeth telling him to stay put? Of course you do!  Do you also remember when everyone was mad at Percy for going on the quest?

You may still be mad at him; I will say that I was mad at Percy for some time.   As time went on though, I started to realize that a lot of things would have been different if Percy hadn’t gone on the quest.  I don’t mean that Percy and Annabeth would have been reunited sooner.  Just about everything else would have been changed in some way.  First, Percy, Frank, and Hazel would be as good friends as they are now.  Second, They would have found Ella. Third, Percy wouldn’t have become praetor…And many more things.

Now, yes, I was upset that Percy went on the quest, but waiting another year for the Percabeth reunion was really a short price to pay for all the greatness that happened in SoN.   Plus, Percy himself was kind of hesitant about going because he didn’t want to do that to Annabeth, yet he knew what he had to do.  Percy knew that this camp took him in) when they knew nothing about him, and that he needed to do whatever he needed to do to repay them.

If you look at why Percy went on the quest from this point of view and you still are mad at Percy, please try to explain it to me.

Just a note about the no post thing yesterday.  I was planning on having a video up, but no matter what I did the video it not up load.  I am working on it and hope to have it up by tomorrow.

Tyson

I would like to take the time to talk about Tyson.  I LOVE Tyson!  It is kind of like Leo in that I can’t really explain exactly why I love him; I just do.  I have always pictured Tyson as a big four year old.  One of those four year olds that you just can’t help but love.  Let me just say…I have always loved peanut butter, but now I always think of Tyson when I think of peanut butter

I fell in love with Tyson instantly in the Sea of Monsters.  The fact that he was allowed into camp, that he went on the quest, and that he was finally accepted as a brother by Percy made me happy that he finally had a place where he was safe.

In the Battle of the Labyrinth, I was excited that Tyson had finally come back.  When Percy lost his watch/shield, I was sad.  I mean I was glad that Tyson was saved, but I wish that there had been another way to save Tyson so that Percy could have been able to keep his shield.

Raise your hand if you LOVE Tyson’s, “for peanut butter” battle cry.  He is just so…Tyson.  When he was asked by the gods what he would like in return for his help with the battle and Tyson just wanted a “stick”, I was laughing so much.

I hope that we get to see more of Tyson in this series.  So far we haven’t had too much of Tyson.

Thank you for reading!

Rick Riordan

Today I have a question for everyone. After all that Rick Riordan has put us through, why is he still our favorite author?

I have yet to really understand that. After the Lost Hero (LH), Son of Neptune (SoN), and Mark of Athena (MoA), you would think that we would cringe at the mention of his name; yet, when we are asked who our favorite author is, most of us will say Rick Riordan.

Especially after Mark of Athena, I was thinking that he would lose A LOT of his fans, but I have been happily surprised.

Just a quick note on the ending of MoA, the real cliffhanger was the end of the second chapter. Well, I have a theory. I think that Rick Riordan only added the last chapter (where Nico says that Percy and Annabeth aren’t dead) just because he knew that if he didn’t do something like that, then we, the fans, would be an angry mob on his doorstep within the week that the book came out. When Nico said that Percy and Annabeth were still alive, I was able to take a small, very small, sigh of relief.

Again, if you have answers to my questions PLEASE comment and tell me. I just don’t understand why he is able to get way with torturing us, and he still is our favorite author. For some reason the ending of MoA made him my favorite author even more, but he has made me really mad at him at the same time… :P The whole fandom just seems to have a love hate relationship with Mr. Riordan.

Thank you for reading! If you have any request on subject topic then comment below.

Rachel

Today let’s take a minute to discuss Rachel (or R.E.D., if you prefer).  I know a lot of fans out there, for some weird reason, hate her; but I don’t understand why.  Rachel is such a great character! Fans that hate R.E.D may say something like, “Oh, well, I hate her because she wanted to date Percy”.  Now put yourself in Rachel’s position…You meet someone like Percy and he doesn’t have a girlfriend, and you like him.  Would you want to date him?  Of course!

If that's not why you hate Rachel, then I challenge you to give me another reason that actually makes any sense.  There is nothing else you can have against her.

Rachel became CHB oracle in the Last Olympian;. I think that there couldn’t be a better position for her in the world of the gods.  Her personality fits very well, and it was about time that they got rid of the old, muffied oracle.

Rachel’s cave/cabin is really cool.  I wouldn’t mind living there; it seems very nice for a cave.

I really like that Annabeth and Rachel are now friends.  I knew that they would be good friends; it was just that Rachel had to decide that she wasn’t the right person for Percy before Annabeth could really consider them being friends.

I need to ask a question though.  Do you remember when Rachel wanted/needed Percy to go on vacation with her in order to tell him that he was not the one that the Great Prophecy was talking about?  Well does anyone understand why he had to go on vacation with her to be told that?  I have yet to really figure that out.

Now I want to go back in time real quick and talk about the first time that Percy met Rachel.  I was laughing SO hard then.  It was just one of those moments.  I mean how odd is it to take out your pen sword when someone sneezes.  Then, that person asks if you always try to cut people in half when they sneeze.  That is just one of the best quick meetings yet for Percy.

I want to get one thing clear before I go.  I am a complete Percabeth fan(Nothing else makes any sense!) I am, however, a Rachel fan.  Summary:  Percabeth > Percachel, but I don’t hate Rachel.

Christmas

Today I want to start off by asking one simple question:

How do you plan on including Percy Jackson in the holiday season?

If you don’t have any ideas keep a look out for some of my ideas.

So next I want to discuss Camp Half-Blood during the holiday season.  I would love to be at CHB during Christmas.  The way that it was described in the books made it seem wonderful!   I never thought that Mr. D would you allow the camp to be even slightly decorated at any time of the year.

If I could only go to CHB once, there would be two deciding factor as to when I go for me.  One if it was Christmas season and two if Percy and Annabeth were there.

I can picture Percy and Annabeth having a snow ball fight with all the other campers and Percy protecting Annabeth while he tries to fend off all the other campers.  The Christmas season has to be one of the best at times CHB.

I bet Chiron lets the campers skip almost all of their training and lets them just have fun.  The more I talk about CHB at Christmas time (or any time), the more it makes me want to go there.

Well we have to come to the end of yet another post.  Please comment below and tell me how you plan on including Percy Jackson in your Christmas.

Wish List

Today I want to talk about that magical item or items on your Percy Jackson Wish List.  I personally have a lot, but I will go through a few and try to explain why I want each one.  So, here we go:

My Percy Jackson (Weapon) Wish List

1.       Let’s start with Percy’s pen.  I mean who doesn’t want that.  It is too cool NOT to own.

2.       Annabeth’s invisibility hat.  Now I am not a fan of the Yankees, but I really would love to have a hat that turned me invisible.

3.       The Wristwatch that Tyson made for Percy.  I, like Percy, wouldn’t use it for telling time or protection, but I would still love to have something made by Tyson.  I LOVE Tyson!

4.       The Video Shield used in the Last Olympian would be really cool to have.

5.       Nectar and or ambrosia.  I just want to know what it would taste like to me.  Lol

6.       Thalia’s shield Aegis.  Now that would be really cool to have.  A bracelet that turns into a shield…Sign me up!

7.         Annabeth’s Celestial Bronze Knife.  Would have to have it because it was Luke’s, then Annabeth’s, and it holds so many stories.

8.       Jason’s coin sword, lance thing.  Awesome!

9.       Piper’s knife.

10.   Leo’s tool belt. Just because it belongs to Leo.

11.   Reyna’s dogs.  It would just be really cool to have them follow me around…

These are just a few things I want.  Of course I wouldn’t mind if they gave me all the stuff, but, hey, the list had to be shortened.  Oh, and it is not a weapon, but I would LOVE House of Hades and whatever the next book is.   Plus a machine that turns fictional characters, places, and events (only the events you choose) into to real people, places, and things… but that is for another post.

Please comment below and thanks for reading!

Life ruiners

This is my last post for today.  We are going to talk about Rick Riordan’s “not cliffhangers”.  In case you don’t know, he has said that 1.) His “cliffhangers” are not real cliffhangers, and 2.) The real cliffhangers are yet to come (WHAT?!)

Let’s start with the not cliffhangers comment first.  If they aren’t cliffhangers, then what are they?  Cassjaytuck on YouTube has come up with some other names for them.  A few of my favorites are “why” and “life ruiners”.  One other person (don’t know who, but not me) has commented on Rick’s twitter saying that if they aren’t cliffhangers then they should be called “Rickhangers” Rick Riordan saw that and comment that he loved it. I think that all three of these names fit so well.

Now, on to that “the real cliffhangers have yet to come”.  My first reaction was, and still is, “WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?”.   Another thought is that if the real cliffhangers have yet to come, then all that has happened in these last books are just the “warm up” or “preshow”. If that is the case, then I am very scared.  What is going to happen?  I can assure you that if all this that has happened is just a warm up, then the fandom is in big trouble.

Well, this post has come to an end.  Comment below and tell me what you think on these subjects.

House of Hades

I am sorry about not having this post up yesterday, but here it is now.  Even though it is not out yet, today we are going to talk about House of Hades.  What I am going to do is ask a few questions and then respond with what I think.

First question:  What are you hoping for in the next book?

My answer:  I hope to see Percy and Annabeth, of course, but I also hope that Nico will become a bigger part of the books.  We have yet to really get to see him as a big character, and I think that it is high time that Nico gets his time to shine.

Second question:  If you could only pick one part of the quest to follow, which would you pick: Percy and Annabeth or the other people on the quest?

My answer:  This is a really hard question to answer.  On one hand I would love to read about Percy and Annabeth (in you know where)to make sure that they are safe, but on the other hand I want to know what is going to happen with everyone on the ship.

Third question:  Do you think any of the characters are going to die?

My answer:  I’m not that sure how to answer this one.  I think that the way the books are going it seems that at least one person is going to die, but Uncle Rick has been known to twist books around before.

We have no come to the end of this post.   Please comment below with your opinion to these questions.  Also, if you have any questions you would like to ask me, feel free to ask in a comment below; I will make sure to respond with the answer.  I plan on having another post up later today.

Spiders

In this post I want to talk about Annabeth’s fear of spiders.  Annabeth is typically cool, calm, and collected, but she starts freaking out every time a spider comes around.  I had always wondered what the story that Annabeth had previously mentioned was.

I was excited that we finally got to read about the spider in Moa.  I didn’t expect that.  It turned out to be kind of scary just reading it.  I am afraid of spiders, and I could only imagine what that was like for Annabeth.  I could not handle having spiders attack me every night.

Just a quick note on Annabeth’s stepmom.  She seemed to hate Annabeth.  Why wouldn’t she let Annabeth give her dad a quick phone call?  There was no reason to say ‘no’.

That’s all I have today.  If you have anything you would like to say comment below.  A quick reminder…Have your question or questions in by Sunday night at midnight.  If you don’t know what I mean by that please check the Sally Jackson post.

Mrs. Jackson

Today I was thinking about Percy’s mom, Sally.  There are a lot of question floating around my brain.  One is that she might know that Percy, for the time being at least, is alive. Mrs. Jackson was probably freaking out about Percy’s disappearance more than Annabeth.  We all know how upset and frustrated Annabeth was, but no one has really asked about Mrs. Jackson.

Another question that has been running through my brain is, “If she does know that Percy is at least alive, then has she gotten to talk to Percy via Iris message?”  I think getting to talk to Percy would make Mrs. Jackson feel a whole lot better.  And we know that Iris message is working because in MoA it was said that it was working now.

That’s pretty much all for today.  Just one more thing...I am going to be sending Rick Riordan a letter, and I am asking a whole bunch of questions.  If there are any questions you would like to ask him, comment below and I will include them in my letter.  If I get a reply to any questions, I will post them on here.

Please have your questions put up by Sunday at midnight.   Feel free to comment below!

Seaweed Brain

It is finally here!  Seaweed Brain!  I am not sure where to start, but I guess I will start, just like Annabeth, at the beginning.

 The Lighting Thief

From the moment I read the first page of LT, I was not only in love with the books, but I was also in love with Percy himself.  Throughout this first book, I loved getting to know Percy, his humor and how brave he is. Would you go off into a world full of monsters you just learned about to retrieve a lost lightning bolt and your mom from Hades?  The consequence is a) being turned into a dolphin, b) destruction of both worlds, or c) both ‘a’ and ‘b’. It took a lot of courage for Percy, Annabeth, and Grover’s to do this.

Sea of Monsters

Percy defying all the rules to save Grover showed that he is a true friend.  This proves his fatal flaw which is shown over and over again.  I love how Percy stood up for Tyson (Who I love!!), even though at first he was embarrassed by him, by saying, “Brother! Tyson, my baby brother!”

   Titan’s Curse

(This book is mostly a Percabeth moment.)  The fact that Percy was determined to save Annabeth, even if he had to sneak out of camp, made me happy.  In Annabeth’s post, I compared how long Percy held the sky compared to Annabeth.  I wasn’t calling Percy a wimp or anything I was just comparing how long they each held the sky.  It really surprised me that they both were able to hold the sky so long.

The Battle of Labyrinth

Now I want to talk about Calypso’s island.  The fact that Percy decided to go back to Annabeth showed his loyalty to Annabeth.

Last Olympia

Percy changes so much from the last four books to this book.  Not a big change.  A surprising change in that he was able to command so many people in such a short amount of time.   And the whole being made a god thing…it was very sweet that Percy refused the offer in order to be made a god.

Lost Hero

I can’t say anything. There was only one mention of Percy, and it was that he was missing.

Son of Neptune

Percy changed so much from between LO and SoN.  I want to talk about Percy’s only memory which was of Annabeth first.  Some people may say that Hera left the memory of her on purpose - bla bla bla.  Well, I know that is not the cause.  Rick Riordan himself has said that Annabeth was just too strong of a memory.  I had to get that out of the way.  Now onto something else…Percy seemed so much older in this book.  I know that he is older, but he actually seemed so much older.

Mark of Athena

The fact that Percy refused to leave Annabeth’s side was so sweet.  It made me happy to know that even while Percy was on a quest to free Death and save Camp Jupiter, his love for Annabeth grew.  I can only imagine how hard it was for Percy to let Annabeth go off on that quest by herself.   I knew and he knew that Annabeth had to go by herself, but I think we both thought that he would find a way to go on the test with Annabeth.  The whole Percy falling with Annabeth thing is endearing.

I am very sorry that this post is very short (in comparison to what it should be).  I have been working at least 4 hours, and I have found that it is very hard to describe Percy.  I love him so much, but can’t explain him.  He is kind of like Leo in the he is hard to explain, but Percy is MUCH harder to explain.  I don’t know what it is. I also realized that I kind of discuss Percy a bit in Annabeth’s post.  So I was trying not to restate that.

Again, please forgive me, and he is really hard to describe.  Please comment below.  If you have any suggestions about something for me to discuss tomorrow, please put that in your comment too.

Wise Girl

Today it’s Annabeth time to shine!  You might want to get comfy; we are probably going to be here for a while.  Now onto the best child of Athena ever, Wise girl.  So where do I begin? There is just so much to talk about.  Let’s start by talking briefly about Annabeth in the first series.

I will start with the first book.  I have to say that I have always admired Annabeth.  I feel that in the Lighting Thief Annabeth was pretty brave. I know she had been training at camp a few years already, but would you go off into the mortal world where there are monster that you to fight (with no training) that you couldn’t figure out how to kill and you are only seven? Plus you are leaving with a boy that you just met a few days ago.  Would you do that?

I know that was very brief, but this is going to be long so I am going to go ahead and move on to the next book.  So, the Sea of Monsters…I personally loved getting to learn about the Cyclops’s lair that Annabeth, at seven years old, had to survive.  Also, getting to know Annabeth’s fatal flaw was really interesting.  This isn’t fully about Annabeth, but I have to mention it.  Percy telling Annabeth she is the smartest girl in the world made me happy; it made me realize (even thought I knew in the first book) that Percy and Annabeth really were going to get together.

This next book, The Titans Curse, I know Annabeth is missing, but it is just so full of Percabeth moments.  I love that Percy was really mad that he wasn’t on the quest (at first) to find Annabeth.   When they found Annabeth, it surprised me how long Annabeth held the “sky”.  Percy didn’t even hold it for half an hour, and he felt like he was going to collapse.

Battle of the Labyrinth…I love that we finally got to see Annabeth lead her own quest.  In a way, I think Annabeth was ready to lead her own quest, but not something like the Labyrinth.  It seems like the Labyrinth just overwhelmed Annabeth.  She had to realize that all the reading she did read on the Labyrinth wasn’t even close to preparing Annabeth her for the Labyrinth for it.

Last Olympian…On the topic of Annabeth taking the fatal knife for Percy, I was really getting scared that Annabeth would die.  At this point, Annabeth was my role model.  I couldn’t see her die.  I couldn’t see her die without having married Percy and them grow old together.  I was so happy when it was said that Annabeth would live. It was like a sigh of relief.

Now, I can’t leave this book without talking about the blue brick with the extra blue cement (the cupcake) and the underwater kiss.  I love how Annabeth made that “cupcake” and let Tyson help.  I love the line where Annabeth said that she will never make things easy for Percy.  It is funny because it is true.  We all know that Annabeth will always call Percy “Seaweed Brain”, and she will always make sure Percy knows that she is the smart one.

Now I want to talk about the kiss when they were sitting on the bench and Clarisse said, “About time!” Well, she took the words right out of my mouth.  That was exactly what I was thinking.  When they threw Percy and Annabeth into the cone lake, I was excited that Percy and Annabeth finally got together.  After five books of waiting and worrying that Annabeth might get together with Luke, it was great to know that nothing could separate them (at least we thought).

Now on to HoO - Don’t give up reading!

LH- There is not much about Annabeth in the Lost Hero, but I am still going to discuss it. I got so excited when the book mentioned Annabeth, but got real sad when I found out Percy was missing. I was mostly sad for Annabeth because she typically knew where Percy was (even when they were only friends), and she always like to know where Percy is to make sure he is he is staying out of trouble. It was probably weird for Annabeth to not know if Percy was or weather he was safe.   When Annabeth knew, down to the minutes, how long she had been looking for Percy, it made me realize that Annabeth is a wreck without Percy.  Her life will never be the same as it was before she met Percy.  He has changed her life in so many ways.

SoN- Not much is said about Annabeth in this book, but I think all that was said fits better under Percy.

MoA-  Now MoA…Oh my gods, where to start?  Let’s start with the judo flip.  I thought it was so funny.  I love that she told Percy never to leave her again, and Percy was just very passive about it.  I was laughing like a crazed fan girl at this point.  I love when Percy and Jason got back on the ship after trying to kill each other and were fighting about who would have killed who, and Annabeth was said, “Boys!  You both would have been great at killing each other….”  I thought it was very funny.

Now, Annabeth’s solo quest; I think it was great to have Annabeth have her own little quest to complete.  I had a suspicion that there was going to be something with spiders, but when it really came out that it was not only spiders, but Arachne as well.  I was freaking out because I hate spiders and could kind of understand how Annabeth felt. Annabeth really should have cut that spider web around her ankle ASAP.  (I won’t start talking about Percy grabbing Annabeth by the wrist and falling with her until tomorrow. *tear*) Think of all the trouble just cutting the spider web would have saved.

Well, sadly, we come to the end of this post.  I told you it would be a long one, but wasn’t it worth it?  Just in case you are wondering this has taken me roughly two hours and fifteen minutes to type.  Also, if you want to know, the word count will be posted after this last small paragraph.

So, thank you for reading and please comment below.  If you have any ideas on something to talk about after Percy’s post tomorrow, please comment below.

Reyna

Today we are going to discuss Reyna.  This will probably be short because we haven’t really gotten to know much about her, but I have to talk about her.  I want to start off with noting how strong of a character she is.  I have realized that no one does anything in Camp Jupiter without consulting Reyna.  Even when Annabeth judo-flipped Percy (more on that later), everyone looked to Reyna for instructions.  I have wondered what would happen in Camp Jupiter if there was no praetor.

I think that Annabeth and Reyna agree on many things, but sooner or later they will have a big clash. I have a feeling that with Reyna having all the Romans going to destroy CHB, well, Annabeth might do damage to Reyna more than a judo flip.
Now I know that this didn’t come up in MoA (came up in SoN), but I have to mention the whole CC’s island thing.  Who else was completely surprised by that?  The way that Uncle Rick threw that in, completely took me by surprise.  It is weird how much it surprised me thought because, while I was kind of getting this feeling that something big was about to happen,  I guess I just didn’t expect anything like that.
That’s all I have on Reyna today, but come back tomorrow for a nice long post about Annabeth.  (Trust me.  There will be A LOT to say about her.)
Please comment below and say anything you want about PJO.   Also comment about what you think of the background.
