Ella

  Today we are going to talk about the one and only Ella the fabulous harpy.   I absolutely adore Ella! I love everything about her.  How she memorizes pages and pages of all types of books.  How she is scared of a lot of stuff.  And I especially love that she talks in third person!  I hope you all love her too because you understand why I love her so much.  She is somewhat like Leo in that you can’t help not to love her.   

  I think it is the fact that she is the runt of her family and scared of everything that makes you feel sorry for her and results in your loving her.  I have always wondered why Ella always speaks in third person.  Is it just something Rick thought would be really cool, or is there something more to it?

  Does anyone else have a feeling that Ella having memorized all those prophecies is going to Be REALLY important later?  I don’t think Rick Riordan would have let Percy, Hazel, and Frank take her with them unless there was something really, really important. I don’t know.  I could be talking crazy.
