House of Hades

I found myself thinking about the whole ‘who is going to close the Doors of Death from the Tartarus’ problem.  I ended up coming up with a startling solution to this.  I don’t even like my idea, but I can’t seem to come up with another one.  If you want to hear it, then read on.

It starts like this:  Percy and Annabeth have a quick reunion with everyone else.  It will be pretty darn quick because they will probably be being chased by some something bad. Coach Hedge might even try to ground Annabeth or something like that ( J ) if he has the time.  After a quick “Glade you’re still alive…” reunion, the question/argument will come up.  Percy will volunteer, but Jason won’t allow it. Then, Nico will start with, “I survived Tartarus once; my dad is Hades.  I can do this again.”  A big argument will happen.  Hazel will be standing off to the side not getting involved.  Then, she will speak up and demand that it is her job.  And that is what will happen.  No one will be able to convince her otherwise.

I’m not sure if there would be time for the extra stuff, but the main point is that it will be Hazel to stay in Tartarus.  Now I love Hazel, but this is what I see happening.  If you really think about this, Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Frank, Jason, and Piper are safe.  The only other people left would be Coach Hedge and Nico, but I don’t think Coach Hedge would walk in Tartarus, not willingly at least.

I would really like to hear what you guys think about my idea and if you have any ideas of your own.

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to comment below!

  2. I actually had no idea who I thought was going to close the doors. Then I saw something on Pinterest and realized it was probably true. Nico will probably close the doors from the inside. The prophecy said, "An oath to keep with a final breath," and Nico promised Percy he would lead every to the doors... I really hope this is wrong and no one has to get stuck in there but I have a feeling that someone will :( Another thing I thought of was that Thanatos or Hades might close the doors inside for them, but I don't know.
